Video: Check Out Ken Block's New Car: Mustang From The Eighties

Racer, showman and Jimhana creator Ken Block has unveiled a new Hoonifox concept based on the Ford Mustang coupe. Unlike the previous Hoonicorn project, the new one will be built on the third generation model, which was produced from 1978 to 1993. The virtual premiere of the car took place on YouTube.

-
Block's partner Brian Scotto and motion designer Ash Thorpe, who had a hand in the new Batmobile, were remotely involved in the work on the project. The Hoonifox coupe will receive an aggressive body kit with wide fenders, large air intakes and a striking rear spoiler. Exhaust pipes with mufflers will be located on the sides, in the manner of the classic Dodge Viper and AC Cobra.
- As for the power plant, there is no information yet. Ken Block's previous Mustang Hoonicorn featured a 1400-horsepower V8 biturbo and all-wheel drive transmission.
