

Hyundai's premium brand Genesis unveiled the first crossover in its history, the GV80, earlier this year. And already in October 2020, the GV70 SUV will debut, which will compete for buyers with the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. Reported by The Korean Car Blog.

Genesis GV70 will receive a platform with a longitudinal engine from the flagship crossover. The new product will get the turbo engines from the G80 sedan. It is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 304 hp, 3.5 V6 with 380 hp. and a 210-horsepower diesel "four" 2.2.
- Like all the latest Genesis models, the GV70 will receive two-story optics and two-tone leather trim. A distinctive feature of the crossover will be a sloping roof, an unusual shape of side glazing and vertical pipes of the exhaust system.




The Genesis GV80 competes with the Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. The 4.9-meter crossover is equipped with adaptive cruise control with automatic lane change on the highway, a central airbag located between the driver and front passenger, and active noise cancellation.
