Given the growing popularity of crossovers, the C-Class sedans and station wagons look a little rudimentary. Nevertheless, the Mercedes-Benz C-class family at the end of 2019 took the third place in sales after all crossovers and compact compact cars of the A- and B-class, which means that the demand for such cars is still great. And the premiere of the new C-class, which should take place already in 2020, is always an event. We collected all the information that is known about this new product right now, and drew how the new generation sedan will look like.

The new C-class has been repeatedly caught on trials - in different conditions and from different angles. What Mercedes does not occupy is the abundance of camouflage film. It is difficult to examine the car under this camouflage in detail, but we still managed to make out something. Here's what we got.

The design of the sedan will change noticeably, but the model will almost certainly look very conservative. The headlights, according to the new fashion, will become narrower, and the ribs and stampings on the sidewalls will be less pronounced. The radiator grill is unlikely to change much and will be similar to those of other Mercedes-Benz models.

The lanterns of the new C-class will receive the shape already familiar from the updated E-class. Noteworthy are the door handles, which are located under the barely noticeable longitudinal rib on the doors. Previously, the handles were above the rib, which was located lower and was much more prominent.
