Volkswagen has revealed a schedule for reopening its factories. From April 27, conveyors will be launched in Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod. These enterprises stopped working on March 30 due to the interruption of supplies from European factories, which were closed for quarantine in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
Simultaneously with the Russian enterprises, work will resume at all Volkswagen sites in Germany, Spain, Portugal and the USA. Already on April 20, conveyors will start moving in the German Zwickau and Slovak Bratislava. Restart operations are scheduled for May in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa.
Russia will postpone the introduction of new rules for driving license exams
The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have agreed on a draft resolution, which is postponing from October 1, 2020 to April 1, 2021, the introduction of new rules for passing exams for obtaining a driver's license. They suggest avoiding indoor travel and are introducing a single exam that takes place on urban low-traffic roads.
