The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has evaluated the efficiency of the Bentley BentaygHybrid SUV - the first hybrid in the history of the brand - in real conditions. It turned out that this modification is not the most economical in the line. It is reported by InsideEV’s.

-
The 449-horsepower Bentley Bentayg hybrid crossover consumes 11.2 liters per 100 kilometers in the extra-urban cycle, while the version with the 550-horsepower 4.0 V8 consumes one liter less. In the combined cycle (city and highway), the hybrid's fuel consumption is 12.4 liters per 100 kilometers. Under these conditions, the eight-cylinder version needs 1.4 liters more.
- Bentley BentaygHybrid is equipped with a three-liter gasoline V6, an electric motor and a traction battery with a capacity of 17.3 kWh. According to the EPA, the crossover is capable of driving only 29 kilometers on electric traction, while the passport data indicates 39 kilometers.
- The hybrid modification accelerates to "hundreds" in 5.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is 254 km / h. The 550-horsepower variant picks up 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and accelerates to 290 km / h.
In Russia, the BentaygHybrid is not sold, and for the version with 4.0 V8 they ask for a minimum of 14,490,000 rubles.
