Videos showing the exterior and interior of the blue Aurus Senat convertible have appeared on the Web. Unlike the black models prepared for military parades, this car is made for an unknown private client.
- The blue Aurus Senat differs from the front convertibles in the absence of an adjustable handrail in the center of the cabin. The open version is based on a sedan and they are identical in length - 5630 millimeters. The two-door convertible is equipped with a soft roof created by the Finnish company Valmet Automotive. It retracts and rises in half a minute using an electric drive.
- In the interior of the blue Aurus Senat, the front seats are from the BMW 6 Series convertible, and the light control unit is from the models of the General Motors concern. There are no more borrowings in the interior trimmed with beige leather and natural wood.
Technically, the all-wheel drive convertible is no different from other Aurus models: they all use a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol with 598 hp. (880 Nm), an electric motor producing in different modes from 38 to 63 forces, and a nine-speed "automatic".
- According to the open base of Rosstandart, there are currently two blue Aurus Senat convertibles. The second copy appeared in the video. NAMI, which is engaged in the manual assembly of Aurus cars, draws up separate certification documents for each private convertible, allowing them to drive on ordinary roads. Three ceremonial Aurus Senats are not registered, and they are taken to events by tow trucks.
