
Video: Hyundai Changes Logo And Extends Warranty Due To Coronavirus

Following Audi, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai has posted a redesigned logo on social media to highlight the importance of social distancing in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the Korean automaker has extended the warranty period for cars.



- The regular Hyundai logo symbolizes two people shaking hands. Now it has changed to a symbolic greeting by touching the elbows. The World Health Organization (WHO) considers this method less dangerous in the current environment.

The warranty for Hyundai cars will be extended until June 30, 2020 if it expires in March-June 2020. The promotion will affect over 1.21 million Hyundai vehicles in 175 countries around the world. Detailed conditions for extending the warranty in Russia will be announced later.

Hyundai dealerships in Russia have suspended operations until April 30. In our country, the entire April was declared non-working in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
Update: in Russia, Hyundai cars whose warranty expires from March 30 to April 30 will receive an extension of the warranty until the end of May 2020.
