An auction is being held on eBay for the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 coupe. A very rare modification of the Mustang stood in the garage without moving for 39 years.

• According to the seller's description, the car was bought from the first owner in 1981. The buyer drove 30 miles (48 kilometers) to his home and parked the car in the garage. Since then, no one has driven the coupe, so 13,271 miles (21,358 kilometers) remain on the odometer.
• The body and interior of the Mustang Boss 429 were heavily dusty from a long downtime. However, the car is still in excellent and completely original condition. The tires also remained original.
• The Ford Mustang Boss 429 has been set up to homologate the new racing engine. The seven-liter V8 on production cars produced more than 500 hp, although the passport data showed only 380 hp to reduce the cost of insurance.
