The Race Cars Direct website has announced the sale of the LadVestTC1 sedan that competed in the WTCC World Touring Car Championship. For a racing car located in Hungary, they ask for 60,000 euros (5.1 million rubles).
The sold Vesta at the WTCC was driven by the Italian racer Gabriele Tarquini. He won two races in a sedan. After leaving the championship of the AvtoVAZ factory team - LadSport Rosneft - in 2017 all the cars were bought by the French private RC Motorsport team. And after the closure of the WTCC on this West in the Hungarian Touring Car Championship, amateur racer Josef Merck competed.
- LadVestTC1 is equipped with a 380 hp 1.6-liter "turbo four" manufactured by Oreca. The engine is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. Vesta is also equipped with an adjustable Xtrac differential lock, a carbon body kit with a large wing, a roll cage and other racing attributes.
- The LadVestTC1 sedan for sale is fully serviced and ready to race. As motor found out, the installed engine has a mileage of 3,000 race kilometers, when it reaches 6,000 kilometers it will need overhaul. In addition to the car itself, the seller offers a separate spare motor and other spare parts.
Another instance of LadVestTC1 was on sale in 2019. For a car in the Netherlands, they asked for 55,000 euros (4.7 million rubles). A total of three Vestas were built for the WTCC.
