Drones Have Been Introduced Into The Production Of Ladies

AvtoVAZ spoke about the modernization of the main plant in Togliatti. All measures, including the use of drones, should improve quality control and reduce production costs.

• The assembly line for LadGrant and Datsun brand models now has eight robotic parts delivery carts. They determine which parts are needed for a particular vehicle and automatically deliver them to the post. The total length of the assembly lines has been reduced by 560 meters due to the change in production flows.

• The LadXray, Largus, Renault Logan and Sandero production lines have been revamped with eight additional robots that are responsible for welding the main body points. Later, two more welding robots will appear, and their total number on the line will be 15 units.
• The Lad4x4 production conveyor received an upgraded component supply system. This should increase the speed of work. Earlier it was reported that preparations had begun for the transfer of Chevrolet Niv production to AvtoVAZ. In 2021, both SUVs will be assembled together.

Recently, a second case of coronavirus infection was recorded at the AvtoVAZ plant in Togliatti. In total, 29 employees of the company were quarantined, and the enterprise was completely disinfected.
