Found A Garage With 50 Rarities And A Bunch Of Spare Parts

In the US state of Pennsylvania, collector Larry Schroll passed away in 2018, leaving behind a huge garage filled with rare classic cars. According to Business Insider, the family was unaware of the scale of Larry's collection of cars and only recently discovered the entire collection.

• Schroll became interested in collecting cars in 1961 and continued to do so until the 1990s. The largest part was collected from 1975 to 1979, after Larry bought a 3.6 hectare site in the forest and built a hangar there for the collection.
• Unlike many other connoisseurs who assemble cars of a particular make or era, Schroll bought just what he liked. In his collection there are 50 cars produced in the 1920s - 1970s. Apart from the two Volkswagen Beetles, the entire collection is made up of American classics, including crazy hot rods.
• Despite the fact that the cars were littered with various spare parts, thanks to the dry and ventilated premises, most of the cars remained in excellent condition - they only need to be washed. Only a few cars that were parked on the street look worse.
• To sell the collection, the Larry Schroll family turned to Matt Murray, the IronTrap Garage YouTube host of classic cars and hot rods. He is helping to prepare cars for three auctions that will take place during 2020. In return, Matt received two 1932 and 1934 Ford Model Bs, which he intends to rebuild.
