Car companies continue to freeze production at European factories due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to Ford, since March 17, Volkswagen has stopped the conveyors of Italian and Spanish enterprises, as well as a plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. Renault has interrupted the work of two factories in Spain and all 12 French factories, which employ 18 thousand people.

All European factories were quarantined by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), PS group (Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Opel and Vauxhall) and Michelin tire company. The latter company has 21 factories in Europe. In addition, many dealerships are temporarily shutting down.

Tesl has announced the start of deliveries to customers in the United States of the electric TeslModel Y crossover, built on the basis of the Model 3 sedan. The novelty went on sale six months ahead of schedule, although all previous Tesla launches were postponed on average by 6-9 months.

The first production Model Ys are equipped with two electric motors (one on each axle) and cost a minimum of $ 52,990 (3.95 million rubles). Later, cheaper versions with one electric motor mounted on the rear axle will go on sale.
