Video: AvtoVAZ Recalls 12 Thousand Cars Due To Problems With Brakes
AvtoVAZ recalls 12,192 cars of LadVesta, Xray and Largus models. According to Rosstandart, the service campaign will affect cars that have been sold in Russia from September 2019 to the present.
- In three models, a malfunction of the vacuum brake booster check valve was detected. Due to the defect, insufficient force can be created in the vacuum cylinder of the brake system, which leads to an increase in the force on the brake pedal. All recalled cars will have a free replacement of the defective part.
- In the fall of 2019, AvtoVAZ revealed exactly the same problem with the vacuum brake booster check valve on LadGranta family cars. Then 3994 cars sold from August to October 2019 were sent for repairs.
