Luxury Russian Cars Changed Their Minds To Produce In & Nbsp; UAE

The management of the Aurus brand has abandoned plans to start production in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as it is unprofitable. The general director of the domestic brand Adil Shirinov told about this in an interview with RIA " agency.

• In 2019, negotiations were held to launch the production of Aurus Komendant SUVs at the facilities of the Tawazun state holding. In the UAE, he produces weapons and armored vehicles. Now it is planned to supply Aurus to the Arab country directly from Russia.

• A year ago, the Ministry of Industry and Trade handed over the Aurus Senat L700 limousine to the top management of the UAE for test operation, for which they ask for at least 18 million rubles in Russia. According to Shirinov, the sheikhs liked the car, but they asked to add additional body colors and refine the individualization of the interior.
• Shirinov noted that the company has already collected more than 700 pre-orders for Aurus cars, of which 65 are at the pre-contractual stage. The first Aurus Senat sedans for private customers will be released at the Sollers plant in Yelabuga in May 2021, and the serial production of the Komendant SUV will begin there in July 2022 - a year and a half later than planned.

Now the Aurus Senat sedans and Arsenal minivans are assembled by hand at the facilities of the Moscow NAMI. By the end of 2019, 150 cars will be produced, and next year - about 200.With the transfer of production to Tatarstan, the palette of colors will be seriously expanded.
