Citroen's premium DS sub-brand has announced that it will arrive at the Geneva Motor Show not only with the DS 9 sedan, but also with the Aero Sport Lounge concept crossover. It is equipped with a powerful electric propulsion system, and its door cards are trimmed with straw.

-
The five-meter DS Aero Sport Lounge has an intricate body, 23-inch wheels and a large display in place of the radiator grill. As is often the case on concepts, rear-view cameras are installed, and the rear doors open against the direction of travel.
- For the interior decoration, a braided three-component microfiber was taken using straw grown, collected and processed in Burgundy in the same way that was practiced in the 17th century. The front panel consists of a huge monitor with tactile feedback, while the head-up display acts as the dashboard. Artificial intelligence Iris is also provided, which works as a voice assistant.
- The power plant of the concept is based on technologies that are used on the DS Techeetah electric car, performing in the Formula E championship. The electric motor develops a power of 680 hp, accelerating the Aero Sport Lounge to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds. Thanks to a 110-kilowatt battery located under the floor of the passenger compartment, the range is 650 kilometers.
DS said that the Aero Sport Lounge was created for a reason, and in the future some of the concept solutions will appear on the production cars of the brand. The crossover will be shown live to the public on March 3 in Geneva.
