A subsidiary of AvtoVAZ, the Super-Auto company, announced the start of accepting orders for LadGranta cars equipped with 1.8-liter engines. According to company representatives, the engine produces 117-119 hp on a dynamometer. (164 Nm).
- The unit is based on a 1.6-liter 16-valve VAZ-21127 engine, which produces 106 hp on conventional grants. (148 Nm). The working volume is not increased by the boring of the cylinder block, but by the installation of a crankshaft with a larger crank radius. Super-Auto noted that this does not affect the engine resource in any way and does not increase fuel consumption.
- The 1.8-liter engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, standard for Grants. The more powerful sedan accelerates to 100 km / h in 10 seconds exactly against 10.5 seconds in the case of the 106-horsepower version.
"Super-Auto" can install a 1.8-liter engine on any modification of Grants, regardless of the body type. The cost of the work is 35-37 thousand rubles, and the production time is 5 days. Thus, the cheapest sedan with a new engine will cost 589,900 rubles.
- The company added that according to the documents, the modified car remains 106-horsepower, and the terms of warranty service for the converted engine are entered into the purchase and sale agreement. For all warranty issues, you must contact the dealer center on a general basis.
