Volkswagen Is Preparing 410-horsepower Arteon R And 333-horsepower Tiguan R

In Sweden, photo spies managed to shoot two top versions of Volkswagen at once - the Arteon R liftback and the Tiguan R crossover. Photographs of cars with a minimum of camouflage were published by Motor1.

• The Volkswagen Arteon R liftback appeared in public for the first time. It differs from conventional versions by a bumper with enlarged air intakes, blue calipers proprietary for the R-versions and four square tailpipes at the rear. The front seats with integrated head restraints are visible in the interior.
• Volkswagen confirmed the arrival of the Arteon R back in 2017. Then the press manager of the company Martin Hube said that the model will receive a three-liter six-cylinder engine with a capacity of about 410 forces and four-wheel drive.

• The Volkswagen Tiguan R has been tested on normal roads since 2016 and a new prototype has now been spotted. It looks almost like the current crossover, but from under the disguise, new headlights and an enlarged radiator grill are noticeable - these details will soon be received by the updated Tiguan. The R version also has blue calipers and four tailpipes under the rear bumper.
• Initially, the Tiguan R was supposed to be equipped with a 2.5-liter "turbo five" from the 400-horsepower Audi RS Q3, but something went wrong and now under the hood of the prototype there will be a two-liter turbo engine from the new generation Golf R hot hatch. Most likely, the all-wheel drive charged crossover will be 333-horsepower.

The Volkswagen Arteon R and Tiguan R are expected to unveil in 2020. They should be declassified during or immediately after the debut of restyled models.
