







The Mercedes-AMG division presented charged modifications of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe crossover coupe: the base AMG 63 and its S-version. Technically, both new items are no different from the previously shown Mercedes-AMG GLE 63: the models are equipped with a 4.0 V8 biturbo with the M177 index, a nine-speed "automatic", a 48-volt EQ Boost starter-generator with 22 hp. and four-wheel drive. The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe develops 571 hp. (750 Nm), and in the S-version the engine is boosted to 612 hp. (850 Nm).
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in the GLE 63 Coupe takes exactly four seconds, while in the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe it takes 3.8 seconds, which corresponds to the dynamics of the standard GLE 63 Series and the 625 hp BMW X5 M and X6 M Competition. The maximum speed of Mercedes-AMG crossovers is limited to 250 km / h, but with the optional AMG Driver's Package the limit is shifted to 280 km / h.
The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe and its S version will be unveiled live at the Geneva Motor Show in early March. The crossovers will go on sale during 2020.
