The head of Tesl, Elon Musk, decided to consult with Twitter users about the need to build a new plant. He created a poll on his page asking "GigTexas?" and two possible answers: "Damn, yes!" or not".

The poll lasted exactly one day. More than 305 thousand users of the social network took part in it. As a result, 80.2 percent voted to build a plant in Texas, which could become Tesla's third production site in the United States.

• According to Inside’EVs, a TeslCybertruck pickup may be launched in Texas. Its armored body, made of ultra-high-strength stainless steel, has nothing to do with other models of the brand and, most likely, the pickup will require a new factory, rather than modernization of other sites.

At the same time, according to polls, the majority of Texas residents did not like the Cybertruck, but they are proud of the locally made cars. Therefore, the release of Tesla's pickup in Texas will increase the reputation of the new product in an important region.
