Audi Officially Showed The New S3, But In Camouflage

Audi has released photos of the fourth-generation S3 Sportback hot hatch prototype. In all images, the car is painted in black and white.

• The five-door hatchback has no parts in common with its predecessor. The S version additionally received an aerodynamic body kit, slots between the radiator grille and the hood, as well as four exhaust pipes.
• The hot hatch is equipped with a two-liter petrol "turbo four" with 310 hp. (400 Nm), a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches (manual transmission is no longer available) and all-wheel drive. It accelerates to "hundreds" in 4.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h. One of the main competitors of the S3, the 306-horsepower Mercedes-AMG 35 hatchback, has the same dynamic characteristics.
• The salon, the photographs of which were published by the photo spies, has changed more radically. The hatch's digital dashboard is surrounded by massive air vents. A large multimedia screen will be located in the middle of the center console. Below it are a push-button climate control unit and a miniature transmission control joystick.

The next generation Audi A3 / S3 family will premiere on 3 March. In Europe, the start of orders is scheduled for May, and dealers will have the first hatchbacks in the summer.
