Video: Kia Showed Its Cheapest Crossover

The KiSonet compact crossover, which will become the brand's smallest and most affordable SUV, premiered at the New Delhi Auto Show. While Sonet has conceptual status, it is already known that its production version will be global.

- The design of the Sonnet is made in the same style as that of the Seltos crossover, which will soon appear on the Russian market. However, the prototype also has non-serial elements, in particular, pull-out door handles.
-
The interior of the concept is obscured by toning, but Ki said it houses a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a Bose audio system. Also, the creators promised that the crossover will be one of the most spacious in the class.
- According to rumors, the serial KiSonet will be built on the basis of the Hyundai Venue front-wheel drive crossover. In South Korea, it is offered with a 123-horsepower 1.6 petrol, six-speed manual transmission or CVT, and the Venue equipment list even includes an infrared driver's knee heater.
- The first market for the serial KiSonet will be India. The model will appear in this country in the second half of 2020. Later, sales of the crossover will begin in other regions.
