Cadillac has opened pre-orders for the XT6 crossover, built on a front-wheel drive platform and equipped with three rows of seats. In Russia, it is offered only with a two-liter gasoline "turbo four" with a capacity of 200 hp. (350 Nm). The engine is able to turn off two cylinders at low loads and is paired with a nine-speed "automatic" and four-wheel drive.
In Russia, the Cadillac XT6 will be available in three trim levels: Premium Luxury, Sport and Platinum. While the cost of the first two versions is known: it is the same and amounts to 3 970 000 ₽… The versions differ from each other in the design of the radiator grille and lights, interior trim (for Premium Luxury - wooden inserts, for Sport - carbon inserts), suspension settings, steering, as well as all-wheel drive systems: the Sport version has two electronically controlled clutches on the rear axle (for more precise torque distribution) instead of one.
- All versions of the Cadillac XT6 have LED optics, front collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane departure monitoring, three-zone climate control, leather, wood, metal and carbon fiber trims.
The top version of the Platinum adds a night vision camera, a six-camera surround view system, a Bose audio system, suede headlining and a rear-view mirror with an integrated display, which displays images from a wide-angle rear-view camera.
- Russian dealers of Cadillac will have the first XT6s at the end of February 2020. In Russia, crossovers are supplied from the American GM plant in Tennessee.
- For comparison: the premium Infiniti QX60 in Russia costs from 3.45 to 4.05 million rubles, and the top-end VW Teramont will cost 3.899 million rubles. Seven- and eight-seat crossovers of mass-produced Hyundai and Ki brands are even cheaper.
