Video: Americans Built A Porsche Replica With A & Nbsp; Single Seat In The & Nbsp; Center

California atelier S-Klub L.A. built a replica of the Porsche 550 Spyder. A feature of the project, among other things, was the single center-mounted driver's seat, although the original 1950s model was a two-seater.

-
Roadster without a retractable roof and a tiny windshield is built on a custom space frame made of steel. The body panels are made of fiberglass. On the outside, the replica differs from the original in widened arches and wheels from later Porsche models.
- The salon has been completely redone for one place - in addition to the steering wheel, pedals and a chair, the dashboard has also been moved to the center. The minimalist interior is lavishly trimmed with orange leather.
- Behind the single seat is an air-cooled Volkswagen Type 4 boxer four. The engine, with gold painted parts, was bored to 2.6 liters and boosted to 203 horsepower. The curb weight of the restomod is 590 kilograms - just 40 kilograms more than the original.
