
Video: Russian Skoda Karoq Fell In Price Before The Start Of Sales

Skod has announced the start of taking orders in Russia for the compact crossover Karoq. The first on sale will be cars with a 150-horsepower 1.4 petrol turbo engine, eight-speed "automatic" and front-wheel drive. They will be available in two trim levels Ambition and Style. Moreover, the cost of the basic version was 16 000 ₽ lower compared to the price announced in December 2019.

- In the Ambition package (from 1 499 000 ₽), Karoq has 16-inch alloy wheels, stabilization system, LED lights, cruise control, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and a multimedia system with a 6.5-inch screen and eight speakers.
- In the top version of Style (from 1,673,000 rubles), 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, front parking sensors, keyless entry system, electric folding side mirrors, heated steering wheel and combined seat upholstery appear.
- The options list includes adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam, blind spot monitoring, heated windshield and rear seats, an electric tailgate and more.

For the first buyers of Karoka, they will offer a free First Edition package. In the Ambition package, it includes rear window tinted windows, combined seat upholstery, circular parking sensors and adjustable lumbar support for the front seats. The Style version adds a car parker.
- The first SkodKaroq, assembled in Nizhny Novgorod, will appear at Russian dealers on February 14.
During 2020, sales of crossovers will begin, equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline aspirated 110 hp, paired with either a five-speed "mechanics" or a six-speed "automatic". They will also offer the all-wheel drive Karoq, available only with a 150-horsepower turbo engine and a six-speed "robot" with two clutches.
