The Polish studio Carlex Design has finalized the Mercedes-AMG G 63, decorating it with materials unusual for cars - copper and rose gold. In total, 10 SUVs will be created with the Steampunk Edition prefix.

• The main highlight of the project is the copper lining on the roof and the spare wheel cover. Each SUV of the special edition will receive a unique engraving on these parts: it will be made by hand. Copper painted 22-inch wheels, nameplates and moldings on the sidewalls.
• The seats and dashboard of the SUV are finished in brown leather, while the inserts on the steering wheel and air vents are plated in rose gold. Unique images have appeared on the ceiling, armrest and door frames in Alcantara. The interior and trunk floor is made of American hazel with a leather backing.
• There is no information on technical improvements. The standard Mercedes-AMG G 63 is equipped with a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 with 585 hp. (850 Nm), nine-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive. The SUV accelerates to "hundreds" in 4.4 seconds, and the maximum speed with the AMG Driver's Package is 240 km / h.

• Carlex Design said that it takes 5,200 hours to create one copy of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Steampunk Edition. The cost of the modifications is kept secret. Each SUV comes with a book with a leather cover and gold inserts: it shows the whole process of work and contains letters from craftsmen and engravers.
