Rosstandart announced the recall of 82,641 cars of the Toyot and Lexus brands. The review included ToyotHighlander, Land Cruiser Prado, RAV4, as well as Lexus RX 200t, RX 350, RX 450h. All recalled vehicles have been sold from December 2015 to the present.
- Cars have problems with a weak seal holding the heater inside the windshield washer nozzles. Water and reagents getting inside parts can cause short circuits, overheating and even fire.
- All recalled Toyots and Lexus will have their windshield washer nozzles replaced. All work for car owners will be free.
You can check if your car is subject to recall using the “Recall Campaigns” service developed by Avto.ru together with Rosstandart. To view information on the car, you need to enter the state number or VIN code. It is also possible to subscribe for free to an alert about the start of new recall campaigns for your car, which will be sent to the specified e-mail.
