UAZ Has Created A Van With A 1000-kilometer Power Reserve

The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant showed the first copy of the cargo-passenger version of the Profi model. The new modification, which was certified in the summer of 2019, was built jointly with the Ulyanovsk firm Avtodom.

• The car with the UAZ-1288 index received a standard front end from the cargo Profi and a composite module with a power cage made of steel pipes at the back. A partition with glass is installed between them. Machine length is 6150 mm, width - 2095 mm, height - 2500 mm, wheelbase size - 3500 mm.
• The cargo-passenger UAZ Profi is equipped with a 2.7-liter petrol engine with a capacity of 150 hp. (235 Nm) and five-speed "mechanics". Drive type - rear or full. The first finished copy runs on both gasoline and gas. Due to four 50-liter gas cylinders, the novelty can overcome 1000 kilometers without refueling.
• There are several cabin layouts - a six-seater with two rows of seats and a ten-seater with three rows. In the first version, a blind partition is installed behind the seats between the cargo and passenger compartments, which can be shifted to increase the volume of the trunk.
• The initial cost of a passenger-and-freight UAZ Profi with rear-wheel drive and a six-seat layout is 1,434,900 rubles. The base model with a bare chassis will cost 600,000 rubles less.
