Bonhams has announced the sale of the first production Dodge Viper RT / 10 of 1992. For the roadster, whose VIN number ends in 00001, an unknown buyer paid $ 285,500 (17.6 million rubles) at an estimated cost of $ 125,000 (7.7 million rubles).

• The world's first Dodge Viper belonged to the legendary Lee Iacocca, who was chairman of the board of the Chrysler concern in the early 1990s. The top manager personally approved the creation of the production Viper and, together with designer Carroll Shelby and Chrysler President Bob Lutz, presented the concept model at the 1990 Detroit Auto Show.
