Small Crossover Skoda Has Become Off-road

The most compact and budgetary crossover Skod-Kamiq - received an "off-road" version of the Scoutline. However, the model remained front-wheel drive: all innovations are decorative.

• SkodKamiq Scoutline has dark plastic protectors on bumpers, sills and wheel arches, silver inserts and chrome edging for side windows. The rim diameter is 17 or 18 inches with low profile tires, while the base Kamiq is equipped with 16-inch wheels.
• In the cabin of the new version, metal pedals, combined seat trim with fabric and microfiber, decorative ash inserts, as well as leather on the steering wheel and gear lever appeared. The automaker did not provide photos of the interior.

• The Scoutline version can be ordered with any engine available on the regular Kamiq version. The engine range includes a gasoline liter "turbo-engine" in 90 hp versions. (on gas fuel), 95 and 115 hp, a more powerful 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine for 150 forces and a 115-horsepower turbodiesel with a volume of 1.6 liters.

For the first time, the SkodKamiq Scoutline will be shown live at the Geneva Motor Show in March. European sales start in June 2020. By the way, earlier only the SkodFabi station wagon and the Rapid Spaceback hatchback had the Scoutline prefix, and the brand's larger crossovers have an all-terrain version of the Scout, which assumes all-wheel drive.
