Parking Lot With Hundreds Of Old Buses Found In Moscow

In Moscow, near the Tekhnopark metro station, a huge parking lot filled with old buses was discovered. According to the estimates of the Avto.ru magazine, there are more than two and a half hundred vehicles on the site. This is what it looks like.

• At the time of this writing, it was not possible to get a comment from the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans" on the further fate of the parked buses.

• Most of the buses in the parking lot are in the old, green and white livery used for public transport in the capital. Now a new blue scheme is used for ground transport in Moscow - it was introduced in the capital in 2014.
• On the other side of the metro line, there is another GUP parking lot - with new equipment, which is maintained and prepared for operation.

Often, public transport, which is no longer used in Moscow, is sent to the regions. Thus, according to Novye Izvestia, buses from the capital were transferred to Kemerovo free of charge, and trolleybuses to Saratov and Ryazan.
