Auction house Barrett-Jackson in mid-January 2020 will hold an auction for the sale of the 1956 Ford F-100 restomod. The pickup received equipment from a modern Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.

-
The custom on the basis of the Ford F-100 was built by the American firm West AtlantHot Rods. The pickup was equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 with 533 hp. (581 N⋅m) and six-speed "mechanics". So that the rarity could drive not only straight, the solid axles were replaced with independent suspensions in the front and rear. Low-profile tires are stretched over modern discs, and the brakes are replaced with more powerful ones.
- The refurbished body features rear fenders widened by three inches and a matte black paint job. The formidable look is emphasized by LED optics and "circle" tint. The interior is covered in black leather with red stitching; a multimedia system with a rear-view camera is installed.
- The specialists of the auction house did not name the expected cost of the restomod. The Ford F-100 has no reserve price, so it can go under the hammer for any amount.
