The American company Fisker, founded by former Aston Martin and BMW designer Henrik Fisker, has unveiled the Ocean electric crossover. It has received many unusual options, but is cheaper than its main competitors - TeslModel Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E.

-
The Fisker Ocean is equipped with 22-inch wheels, rear-pillar turn signals and rooftop solar panels that recharge the traction battery and provide up to 1,600 free kilometers per year. The novelty has a special "California mode" - in it the sunroof slides, and the rear and all side windows are lowered to create the effect of driving a convertible.
- The interior of the electric crossover uses materials made from fishing nets, old car tires and recycled plastics. In addition to the standard information, the head-up display also displays lyrics available in karaoke mode. Below the large display of the multimedia system is a selector for the selection of driving modes and five transparent keys for quick access to music or climate control.
- The base Fisker Ocean has an electric motor on the rear axle, while the top version adds an electric motor at the front. The most powerful Ocean accelerates to 60 mph (96.5 km / h) in 2.9 seconds, and the range with an 80 kWh battery is about 480 kilometers.

However, the Fisker Ocean will enter production only at the end of 2021, and the first buyers will receive the cars in 2022. The initial cost of the electric crossover is $ 37,499 (2.3 million rubles), while TeslModel Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E ask for a minimum of $ 39,000 (2.4 million rubles) and $ 43,895 (2.7 million rubles), respectively. … In addition to the traditional purchase, Ocean can be taken by subscription - with an initial payment of $ 2999 (187 thousand rubles) and a monthly payment of $ 379 (24 thousand rubles).
