
Video: Stalin's Armored Limousine Stolen In Moscow

In the north of Moscow, robbers stole an armored limousine ZIS-115 from a garage, which was used by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR Joseph Stalin since 1949. This was reported by the Baz edition in its Telegram channel.



- On the night of December 26-27, six unknown persons entered the garage, loaded the ZIS-115 onto a tow truck and fled. The thieves and the stolen car have not yet been found.
- According to Baza, Stalin's armored limousine belongs to the head of the Ukrainian oligarch's security service, Ruslan Tarpan. The car was not in motion.
The six-meter ZIS-115 with a curb weight of 4200 kilograms was produced from 1949 to 1955. The limousine became the first serial passenger car in the USSR with armored protection - it protected against bullets of 7.62 mm caliber from a distance of 25 meters. The ZIS-115 was equipped with a six-liter in-line "eight" with a capacity of 140 hp. and three-stage "mechanics".
