A Seven-seater "Chinese" With & Nbsp; Salon In & Nbsp; Spirit Of Mercedes-Benz Will Arrive In Russia

The Chinese company JAC (not to be confused with another brand, GAC) spoke about the beginning of certification of the seven-seat S7 crossover for the Russian market. Information about engines and equipment available for Russia was also announced.

• In terms of dimensions, the JAC S7 is comparable to the Hyundai SantFe. The length of the Chinese crossover is 4790 mm, width - 1900 mm, height - 1760 mm, wheelbase size - 2750 mm, ground clearance - 204 mm. The exterior of the JAC S7 is quite original, and in the cabin there are references to Mercedes-Benz models: for example, the shape of the front panel and round ventilation deflectors.
• In the Russian market, the crossover will be offered with two petrol turbo engines to choose from - a 1.5-liter, 174 hp. (251 Nm) and two-liter, with a return of 190 hp. (300 Nm). Both engines are combined with six-speed "mechanics" and "robot" with two clutches. Front-wheel drive only.
• In the maximum equipment, the JAC S7 has LED optics, keyless entry, all-round cameras, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic roof, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a head-up display, a multimedia system with a 10.2-inch touchscreen monitor, an electric drive and ventilation of the front seats.

If the Russian certification is successful, the JAC S7 will go on sale in August 2020. The crossovers will be supplied from the SaryarkaAvtoProm plant located in Kazakhstan.
