Rosstandart announced the start of a recall campaign, which included 78,461 Renault Kaptur crossovers. This is the entire volume of sales of the model, realized in Russia from September 2015 to the present.

• The reason for the recall is the likelihood of the bonnet hinge breaking due to a structural defect. This can cause the hood to open suddenly while driving.
• At all Russian Renault Kaptur, produced at the company's Moscow plant, the hood hinges will be reinstalled and its lock replaced. All work for crossover owners will be free.
