The premiere of the compact sedan Hyundai Aura took place in India. It is based on the new i10 hatchback and is the smallest four-door in the Korean brand's model range.
- The length of the Hyundai Aur is 3995 mm, which is 405 mm shorter than the Solaris. According to Indian regulations, cars shorter than four meters have tax exemptions and are much cheaper than larger cars. The volume of the trunk of the novelty is 402 liters.
A four-cylinder petrol aspirated 1.2 with 83 hp is available for Aura. (114 Nm), a liter "turbo engine" for 100 hp. (172 Nm) and another three-cylinder engine, but already a 1.2-liter turbodiesel with 75 hp. (190 Nm). All engines are combined with a five-speed "mechanics", and for gasoline aspirated and turbodiesel, they will optionally offer a five-speed "robot" with one clutch.
- The small sedan's equipment list includes LED daytime running lights, 15-inch wheels, a rear-view camera, wireless smartphone charging and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Hyundai Aur sales in India will begin in February 2020. It will be slightly more expensive than the i10 soplatform hatchback, which costs at least 499,990 rupees (440 thousand rubles).
