Changan CS55 In Russia: Larger Than Hyundai Tucson At The Price Of Creta

• The Chinese company Changan has begun Russian sales of the mid-size crossover CS55. With a length of 4500 millimeters, it turns out to be slightly larger than the Hyundai Tucson, but more compact than the new ToyotRAV4.
• Changan CS55 is offered with a 1.5 petrol turbo engine with 143 hp. (210 Nm). The engine is combined with six-speed "mechanics" (from 1,269,900 rubles) or "automatic" (from 1,399,900 rubles). Drive type - front only. For comparison, the base Tuscon with a 150-horsepower two-liter aspirated, six-speed "mechanics" and front-wheel drive costs 1,499,000 rubles.
• For Russia, the CS55 has two configurations. The initial Comfort (from 1,269,900 rubles) has 17-inch wheels, two airbags, a stabilization system, an electromechanical handbrake, air conditioning, a leather steering wheel, a fabric interior, a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen and four speakers.
• The Luxury version (from RUR 1,309,900) adds a rear-view camera, heated front seats, leather trim and a six-speaker audio system. The versions with "automatic" (from 1,469,900 rubles) also have keyless entry, dual-zone climate control and a sunroof.
