Video: Minibus Opel Zafira Life Received A Ruble Price Tag
In addition to the Grandland X crossover, with the return to the Russian market, Opel began selling the Opel ZafirLife minibus. It is a revised version of Citroen SpaceTourer and Peugeot Traveler - all three models are assembled at the PSMA plant in Kaluga.
At the start of sales, the Opel ZafirLife is available only with a two-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 150 hp. (370 Nm), six-speed "automatic" and front-wheel drive. The minibus is produced in Russia in two lengths: 4.95 (eight-seat M version) or 5.3 meters (seven-seat L version).
- ZafirLife will be offered in two trim levels. The Innovation version (from RUB 2,549,900 in the M version and from RUB 2,599,000 in the L version) has xenon headlights, a Webasto pre-heater, keyless entry, a stabilization system, a blind spot monitoring function, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, a rear camera view, fabric interior decoration and a multimedia system with a seven-inch touchscreen monitor.
The top-of-the-line Cosmo (from RUR 2,999,900 for the L version) is complemented by adaptive cruise control, electric sliding doors, Webasto pre-heater with remote control, head-up display, navigation and leather interior.
- Citroen SpaceTourer and Peugeot Traveler with 150-horsepower turbodiesels and "automatic machines" are cheaper than Opel ZafirLife by 100,000 rubles, but their equipment is poorer, for example, "French" do not have xenon headlights and a touchscreen display in the cabin. In the top version, all three models cost the same and have the same equipment.
The Opel ZafirLife is guaranteed for three years or 100,000 kilometers. At the start of sales, minibuses are available at 11 dealerships in eight Russian cities. In the first half of 2020, a cargo version of the model, the Vivaro van, will enter the Russian market. Its production in Kaluga will be set up in the near future.
