Citroen Has Created A Competitor To The Sedan Lada Vesta Cross

The Chinese Ministry of Industry has certified the Citroen C3L all-terrain sedan with an unpainted plastic body kit and traditionally published photos of the model that has not yet debuted. This information was published by the Autohome edition.

• Citroen C3L is built on the budget version of the PF1 platform, which also underlies the Citroen C-Elysee and Peugeot 301 sedans sold in Russia. The length of the C3L is 4505 mm, which is 81 mm longer than that of the four-door LadVestCross, which is similar in ideology. In width, the "Frenchman" (1748 mm) surpasses Vesta by 224 mm at once, and in height, on the contrary, is less by 13 mm (1513 mm). The wheelbase of the C3L is 2655 mm versus 2635 mm for the VestCross.
• The all-terrain Citroen sedan will receive only one engine - a three-cylinder 1.2 turbo engine with 116 hp. (190 Nm). It will be combined with a six-speed "automatic" and front-wheel drive. The lack of all-wheel drive is partially compensated by the proprietary Grip Control system with individual settings of the driving electronics for different types of surfaces.
• The list of equipment for the Citroen C3L includes LED running lights, a sunroof, climate control, leather interior trim, headrests integrated into the rear sofa. There is no ground clearance data, while LadVestCross has 203 millimeters.

The Citroen C3L is expected to premiere in early 2020. It is not yet known if the sedan will be sold outside of China.
