A Very Important Infiniti Buyer Wants An Electric Car - They Sold Him A Tesla

In the Canadian city of Sherbrooke, a local official Infiniti dealer has sold a new electric car, although the Japanese brand itself does not yet produce cars with such power plants. The dealership got out of the situation by buying on the side and reselling the TeslModel 3 sedan, and the buyer for whom this exception was made was the mayor of Sherbrooke, Steve Lussier.

The dealership explained that they sold the car of a foreign brand not because of the position of the client, but because Steve Lussier has been a regular customer of Infiniti for many years. The mayor really wanted an electric car, and to maintain his confidence, the dealer went for such a trick.

Auto dealership officials hope that Lucier will return to them in 2021, when the first electric car should appear in the Infiniti range. Its harbinger was the QX Inspiration concept crossover, unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in early 2019.

The Infiniti QX Inspiration has two electric motors, one per axle, which are powered by a battery located in the floor. Thanks to the new platform, the layout has changed, which made it possible to obtain a spacious interior without a transmission tunnel.
