Video: The Artist Created A Traffic Jam With & Nbsp; 66 & Nbsp; Cars From & Nbsp; Sand

On the oceanfront in Miami, artist Leandro Ehrlich completed his largest piece of art, a sand installation in the form of 66 machines. The Argentine called his work "The Order of Significance."

-
It took two years to prepare for work and the very manufacture of the sand figures, 330 tons of sand and more than a million dollars. The money was collected thanks to sponsors and donations, of which 300 thousand dollars were allocated by the city of Miami.
- All sculptures exactly repeat the appearance and dimensions of real cars. For example, they include Land Rover Freelander, Dodge Neon, Ford Focus and Chrysler PT Cruiser.
- In addition to referring to the problem of congested roads, the work is intended to remind of the human impact on climate change. This is why some of the cars in this installation are sinking into sand, indicating a rise in ocean levels caused by global warming.
