
Video: Russian Skoda Karoq Will Receive An Eight-speed "automatic"

The Russian-made SkodKaroq crossover will be offered with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Several official Skoda dealers told about this to the "Auto.ru Magazine".

The Russian Karoq will receive an eight-speed "automatic" Aisin, equipped with a traditional torque converter. This gearbox is already installed on the Volkswagen Teramont soplatform crossover, the latest generation Jett sedan in the version for the US market, as well as on several other models of the German concern.
- SkodKaroq of the Russian assembly will be offered with a choice of a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter 110 horsepower engine and front-wheel drive, as well as with a 150-horsepower 1.4 turbo engine, with front or optional four-wheel drive, but with which gearboxes is still unknown.
Skod will announce the Russian price at Karoq on December 11. Sales of "live" crossovers will begin in 2020.
