Where Chinese Cars Are Most Loved In Russia

From January to October 2019, 1 million 276.2 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Russia. Among them, there are about 24.5 thousand cars of Chinese brands - now they occupy almost 2 percent of the new car market. We have already learned which Chinese models became the most popular in 2019 in 10 months, and now we have studied the statistics and made a rating of the regions on the roads of which the representatives of the Chinese car industry have appeared the most.

The largest number of Chinese cars were registered in the Central Federal District - more than 8 thousand pieces. This is one third of all new Chinese cars sold in the Russian Federation. Moreover, a little more than 2.6 thousand of them are registered in the capital. The same amount was registered in the Moscow region. Another 2.8 thousand cars have dispersed to other regions of the region.

Another leading district is Privolzhsky. There are more than 5.2 thousand of these machines here. The Northwestern Federal District closes the top three - 3.4 thousand units.

Since the beginning of the year, 2.8 thousand, 2.5 thousand and 2.2 thousand cars have been registered in the Urals, Siberian and Southern Federal Districts, respectively.

In the North Caucasian District, less than 200 motorists stopped their choice on Chinese models. The absolute worst result was recorded in the Far Eastern Federal District - 67 vehicles.
