AvtoVAZ Will Stimulate Dealers To Sell More "West"

AvtoVAZ informed its dealers that in December the plant will focus on promoting the LadVesta family. At the same time, according to Avto.ru, the company is ready to compensate partners for part of the costs of the commercial promotion of Vesta. Vedomosti previously reported that AvtoVAZ is going to pay in full for the promotion of the Vesta family.

This step is associated with the start of sales of the updated version of LadVesta, dealers say. The model is equipped with a 113-horsepower 1.6-liter engine produced by the Renault-Nissan alliance, paired with a Jatco CVT. Prices for this "Vesta" start at 736,900 rubles. AvtoVAZ representatives "do not comment on the details of commercial relations with dealers."

According to Avto.ru, in 10 months of 2019, 277 thousand new Lad cars were registered in the country (excluding the LCV segment), which is 2.8% more than in the same period a year earlier. The brand's market share reached 21.7% (plus 1.1 points). In October, the demand for the flagship model fell by a record 15% (8.5 thousand units) - perhaps buyers were waiting for the Vesta with a CVT. Nevertheless, in 10 months of 2019, the model was chosen by 7.7% more motorists (88.5 thousand people) than a year ago.
