New Chery Tiggo 7 Received Three Monitors And A New Turbo Engine

Chery unveiled the new Tiggo 7 crossover at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The model has changed a lot, although the first generation car appeared only four years ago.

• Chery Tiggo 7 now has a large radiator grille with a three-dimensional pattern, "floating" roof pillars and lights, connected by an LED strip. With the change of generation, the model has grown in length by 30 millimeters (up to 4500 mm), in width - by 5 mm (up to 1842 mm), in height - by 76 mm (up to 1746 mm). The size of the 2670mm wheelbase has not changed.
• Inside, the novelty also has nothing to do with the previous Tiggo 7. The dashboard has become digital, the multimedia system monitor has increased in size, and the third display with built-in physical washers is designed to control climate control. Options include a two-tone interior trim, panoramic roof, surround-view cameras and wireless smartphone charging.
• The new Tiggo 7 debuts a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engine with 197 hp. (230 Nm). It is combined with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches. Front-wheel drive only.

In China, sales of the second-generation Chery Tiggo 7 will begin in 2020. At the same time, the first generation of the crossover appeared on the Russian market only at the beginning of 2019.
