The wheelbase, on the contrary, has grown by 30 millimeters (up to 2729 mm), and the height has increased by a little less than 100 mm (in the current generation - 1494 mm). The model will continue to be heavily unified with the A-class hatchback.

General Motors CEO Mary Barra announced that the concern will begin selling the first electric pickup in the fall of 2021. This announcement was made before the premiere of its main competitor - the futuristic TeslCybertruck. Elon Musk's brainchild will enter the conveyor at the end of 2021.

According to rumors, for the first electric pickup, General Motors will revive the Hummer brand. By 2023, there will be an electric SUV, which will also be called the Hummer. They will be produced at the D-HAM (Detroit-Hamtramck) plant in Detroit.
