Nissan has introduced a new generation sedan Sentr. The debut of the model, the predecessor of which was produced in Izhevsk from 2014 to 2017, took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The four-door was built on a new platform with an independent rear suspension (there used to be a beam). The new chassis lowers the sedan's center of gravity. The length of the model has grown by 16 millimeters (up to 4641 mm), the width - by 52 mm (up to 1815 mm), and the height has decreased by 56 mm (up to 1450 mm). The wheelbase is 2712 mm, which is 12 mm more than before.

In the cabin, there is a steering wheel with a truncated rim, like in the Qashqai and X-Trail, and the list of options includes a two-tone body paint, adaptive cruise control, an automatic braking system with pedestrian detection, all-round cameras and a leatherette front panel with contrast stitching.
- For the North American market, only one motor has been announced so far. The new Sentr will receive a two-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 151 hp. (198 Nm). The front-wheel drive sedan engine is combined with a variator.
In the US, the next-generation Nissan Sentr will go on sale in January 2020. Prices for the new product have not yet been announced. In Russia, the model is not worth waiting for: in our market, the company has relied on localized crossovers.
