Customizer Mike Harrah completed his most ambitious project, which took seven years to build. He assembled the THOR 24, a huge tractor with such a powerful 28-liter engine that the truck had to be equipped with four brake parachutes.

-
THOR 24 is based on the 1979 Peterbilt 359 tractor. Its frame had to be greatly lengthened to accommodate two twin Detroit Diesel 12V-71 diesel engines. The result is a 24-cylinder unit with 3472 power output, equipped with 12 mechanical compressors and eight nitrous oxide cylinders. All power is transmitted to the two rear axles by a four-speed "automatic" Allison HT740, and the tractor itself can accelerate to 160 km / h.
- The THOR 24 is 13.41 meters long and has a curb weight of 13.5 tons. The doors are made of lifting, behind them in a separate compartment is a 1500-watt stereo system and a 40-inch TV. To make the chassis withstand all new parts, including the engine with 24 exhaust pipes, it was made from 32mm rectangular steel pipes.
- There are 24 instruments on the front panel, half of which indicate the operation of the compressors. The ceiling has a row of toggle switches and four monitors for the surround cameras. A huge dagger is installed in the center of the cabin - in fact, it is a gear lever.
Once built, Mike Harrah plans to exhibit THOR 24 at various exhibitions and festivals. The tractor is now stored in an aircraft hangar in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
