The premiere of the new generation Nissan Almer sedan took place in Thailand. It has changed a lot in appearance, and also received new equipment and equipment rich for its segment.

• The new Almera has become larger than the previous generation: now the model is slightly larger than the Russian KiRio. The length of the "Japanese" is 4495 mm (the "Korean" is 95 mm shorter), the width is 1740 mm (parity), the height is 1460 mm (Rio is 10 mm higher), and the wheelbase is 2620 mm (20 mm larger than Rio).
• The new Nissan Almer received an uncontested power unit: a liter three-cylinder turbo engine with a capacity of 100 hp. (152 Nm) combined with an Xtronic CVT and front-wheel drive.
• Among the equipment for Almera, six airbags are now available, an automatic braking system, a blind spot monitoring function, all-round cameras, an eight-inch multimedia system and one-zone climate control. The instrument panel is equipped with a seven-inch screen for the tachometer and on-board computer, and the speedometer is left analog.

The pre-orders for the Nissan Almer have already begun, and car sales in Thailand will start in December 2019. The cost of the sedan is in the range of 499,000 - 639,000 baht (1.05-1.35 million rubles). Later, the novelty will appear in other markets in the Asian region. The Russian Almeria, built on the basis of Renault Logan, was discontinued in Togliatti in 2018.
