Terms Of Legalization Of Off-road Vehicle And Minivan Aurus Announced

The Aurus Komendant SUV and Arsenal minivan will be certified in late 2020 - early 2021. This was reported by the TASS agency with reference to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Denis Manturov.

• After successfully passing the certification, the Aurus Komendant and Arsenal will be allowed to start selling models. Earlier, Manturov said that the serial version of the SUV will be presented at the Moscow Motor Show in August 2020. It is not yet known whether a minivan, which is already being used by the FSO of Russia, will be shown at the exhibition.
• Full production of Aurus models will begin in 2021 at the Sollers group plant with a capacity of 5,000 cars annually in the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan. So far, cars of the Russian brand are assembled in small batch at the facilities of NAMI.

• Like the Aurus Senat sedan, for which the official price has already been announced, the rest of the models are equipped with a gasoline 4.4-liter V8 with two turbines producing 598 hp. (880 Nm), an electric motor producing in different modes from 38 to 63 forces, and a nine-speed "automatic".
